Unfinished Stories and Sales Pitch

Wednesday night I was going through my shelf of unused and used sketchbooks, drawing pads looking for some blank sheets for my girlfriend who needed the paper for an assignment for her students, luckily I had a small stack that was perfect for what she needed. So, while looking I ran into a drawing pad with a dozen drawings that I had done some ten years ago. They were meant to be used to accompany short stories, or was it poems? I can’t remember, but the point is that it was for a children’s book. A friend of a friend approached me with the idea and asked if I’d be interested in doing the drawings, we came to an agreement and I went to work on them, with some basic info on what she wanted in each image and the basics of each story/poem. In the end, nothing came of the book, and I didn’t get paid for the drawings. I had all but forgotten about this until Wednesday. Wow. I’m going to take some photos of the drawings and post them up, just for shits and giggles. But seriously, I definitely would like to collaborate with someone on a project where I supply the artistic side. Drawings for a book, a local artist’s album cover, concert poster designs etc. Interested? Hit me up on here!
